What will you be doing?

• Manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release using agile methodologies.
• Gather system and user requirement.
• Build Java modules and unit test cases.
• Test integration and provide user acceptance testing support.
• Improve system resilience and ensure product quality.
• Mentor junior developers on the various technologies and functional domains.
• Participate in sprint planning.
• Report progress to the delivery team.
• Use extensive knowledge of software technology to build a framework that is both resilient and scalable.
• Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal company policies and policy standards.

What we’re looking for:

Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer and Information Science or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Java Developer or related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in the above-referenced fields and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Java Developer or related position. Demonstrated experience must include the following skills: Developing software using Java, spring boot, UNIX, Apache Camel, JavaScript, Python and maven build tools; Creating and maintaining user interfaces with Angular JS; Analyzing and developing reports with SQL and no-sql databased including MongoDB, DocumentDB and Oracle; Managing no-sql databases including MongoDB, DocumentDB, Relational databases and Oracle; Creating and maintaining complex decision-making tree algorithms with Drools; Developing and maintaining applications deployed in aws cloud; Configuring and maintaining Kafka messaging servers; and Developing applications to connect and process data to and from kafka topics.
