Northrop Grumman is seeking a Database Administrator/Principal Database Administrator with Neo4j or similar Graph Database experience at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This DBA will be an active part of a team of Database Administrators who will share in the administration of Neo4j, Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, et al. This candidate will take lead on Neo4j administration activities and provide general support for the other database environments.

Responsibilities include:
Maintaining and enhancing Graph Database capabilities for the Intelligence Systems Infrastructure, Tools, and Enhancements (InSITE) program. Install and configure new Neo4j Graph database solutions and aid in maintenance, administration, and security for the new Neo4j database environment. Provide general support for other database architectures such as Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, etc.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.

Basic Qualifications for a Database Administrator:

  • Must have an active Department of Defense Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
  • One of the following:
    • High school diploma with 7 years of relevant experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 3 years of relevant experience
    • Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 1 year of relevant experience

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Database Administrator:

  • Must have an active Department of Defense Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
  • One of the following:
    • High school diploma with 10 years of relevant experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 6 years of relevant experience
    • Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline with 4 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active CompTIA CASP+ or Security+ certification
  • Experience with Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, or MongoDB Database administration
  • Neo4j or other graph database administration experience
  • Experience with Apache, NGINX, or JBoss Server administration

This position reports to Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Beavercreek, OH, OH, USA.

Salary Range: $70,100 USD – $105,100 USD
Salary Range 2: $86,300 USD – $129,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
